Professional Dog Training

Why is Dog Training Important?

Barklandia is proud to now offer PROFESSIONAL DOG TRAINING services.  We believe that POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT is the most effective way to reach QUICK & LONG LASTING RESULTS!   Our training programs are NOT fear based and will not only increase the bond between you and your furry friend, but also ensure that your dog learns behaviors that will help them lead a happy, healthy, and safe life.

We offer PUPPY TRAINING CLASSES that are exclusively focused on pups 8 - 20 weeks of age.  Puppies' brains are like sponges during this critical time and we can and will help each little one  build a solid foundation of skills that will benefit them for LIFE!

Of course, we offer training for dogs over 20 weeks of age as well!  From Basic Manners to  solving common and uncommon challenges, we can help! Just imagine how proud you will feel when your doggie demonstrates a polite greeting and doesn't  jump up on friends and family when saying "hello"!  Imagine your dog not pulling on the leash during walks, or not being a reactive rover  when seeing other dogs!  Think about  how reassuring it could be to have your doggie come straight to you when you call his name!  These are just some of the benefits that we can offer you and your best fur friend through our POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT based training!

A word about group classes and COVID-19:  The health and safety of our staff and clients is our TOP PRIORITY!  Barklandia uses a commercial grade air scrubber installed into the HVAC system that purifies the air supply while killing mold, bacteria and viruses.  In addition to this powerful Air Scrubber, we also have the following regulations in place to help ensure a safe experience.   Classes will be limited to no more than 8 clients at a time and  only one owner may participate as the handler in this class.  There is more than enough space to allow for proper social distancing and it is expected that all participants will comply.  Lastly, appropriate face coverings are required at all times.  We have plenty of disposable face mask to assist clients, if needed.

Our "In Home Private Training" program  is our most expensive option, but it is also the most beneficial since the trainer has the ability to start "in home" and then progress to walks in the neighborhood or other areas so that the doggie can transfer the knowledge learned to the real world.  For example, many clients start 'in home' and then progress to walks in the neighborhood or other areas.

There will also be a phone consultation prior to the first session so the client can share their concerns and goals directly with Kyler.
We have three general requirements for our this program:

1.   The doggie is current on Rabies, Bordetella, and DHP vaccinations.

2.   The client agrees to at least one training session per week.

3.  For the safety of our staff and clients, the client agrees to wear an appropriate face covering throughout the duration of the training session.  This requirement applies to any other household members participating in the session.

Cost Per Session:

  1.  One hour = $100
  2. Four (4) Pack of hour-long sessions = $375
  3. Eight (8) Pack of hour-long sessions = $725
