A Meet & Greet is also sometimes referred to as a Temperament Evaluation. Either way, it is simply an opportunity for us to get to know your doggie and, just as importantly, an opportunity for your doggie to get to know us!
Safety of our furry guests, their humans, and our amazing staff is our top priority! While animals may sometimes engage in unexpected and unpredictable behavior, a Meet and Greet gives us the opportunity to get to know your furry friend and better understand what they like and don't like. This helps ensure a safe, happy, and fun Doggie Daycare experience for all!
We believe that every dog is special and lovable in their own unique way. At Barklandia, our Off-Leash Group Play environment is ideal for dogs who thrive in social settings with both other dogs and humans. For dogs that may not be as socialized, this type of play can sometimes feel overwhelming or stressful.
That said, we also know that many dogs need time to adjust to new surroundings—and that’s perfectly okay! Our team is dedicated to making every dog feel comfortable, safe, and happy during their time with us.
Meet and Greet appointments last approximately 2 hours and are conducted at NO COST to the owner. In order for us to best get to know your pet, we ask that owners leave their furry friend with us after a brief introduction. Any puppy that is here longer than 2 hours will be checked into daycare and will incur regular daycare charges.
Barklandia does not put restrictions on dog breeds. However, dogs with reactive tendencies or overly fearful dogs may not be a good fit for Doggie Daycare.
The health and safety of our guests is our top priority at Barklandia. If a dog isn't the best fit for Off-Leash Group Play, we’re here to help!
Our experienced trainers can work with your dog to address any behaviors that may be hindering their participation. Through personalized training, we’ll help your dog learn and grow, ensuring they have the skills and confidence needed to enjoy the benefits of group play in a safe and supportive environment.
