Pet Hotel

Monday - Friday: Check out time is 1:00 PM on Monday through Friday.  Pick up after 1:00 PM will incur an Hourly Rate charge up to a Half Day Rate for pick up between 1:00 PM - 6:30 PM.  An additional nightly rate charge will be added for any pet not picked up by 6:30 PM.  Additional nightly rate charge will be based on size of available hotel suite. Any pet not picked up by 6:30PM will not be available for pick up until the following morning at 7:00 AM (9:00 AM on Saturdays). Additional charges for food will apply.  Food will be selected by Barklandia.  

 Saturday: Check out time is 2:00 PM on Saturday.   An additional nightly rate charge will be added for any pet not picked up at the scheduled time. Additional nightly rate charge will be based on size of available hotel suite. Any pet not picked up by the scheduled time will not be available for pick up until the following morning between 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Additional charges for food will apply.  Food will be selected by Barklandia. Any applicable Sunday Pick Up fees will also apply.   

Sunday:  Drop Off and Pick Up time on Sunday is from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM for no charge. This is the only available time slot on Sundays, as there is no longer a late pick up option. An additional nightly rate charge will be added for any pet not picked up at the scheduled time. Additional nightly rate charge will be based on size of available hotel suite. Any pet not picked up by the scheduled time will not be available for pick up until the following morning as per Monday boarding rules.   

Late Arrival / Early Check Out: We completely understand that plans can change! However, kennel suite availability is based on the dates that we are provided with and we base other client's booking needs, employee schedules, payroll, and other costs with the assumption that the kennel suites booked will be in use the entire time of the stay. As such, we are not able to credit or refund any portion of the overnight billing charges if you decide to check in after your scheduled arrival date or check out your pet early. No exceptions apply. 

No Show: If a client does not check in by closing time on the designated day and has not notified Barklandia in writing about any changes, the client will forfeit 100% of the deposit. 

Applicable nightly rate plus $5 per night per guest during the dates listed below. A 2 night minimum stay is required. Shorter stays will be put on wait list. 

 • Spring Break (March 15 – April 1, 2024)

• Labor Day (August 30 – Sept. 3, 2024)

• Thanksgiving Holiday (Nov. 16 – Dec. 2, 2024)

• Winter Holiday (Dec. 15, 2024 – Jan. 2, 2025)

Barklandia will be closed for Boarding Drop Off and Pick Up on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. 

• Non-Holidays: 50% Deposit required within 2 weeks of ARRIVAL. Full refund for cancellations within 24 hours of the arrival date. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice from the day of check in will incur a fee equal to one (1) night's stay and the remainder of the deposit will be refunded to the card used. The Balance Due will be charged at check in.  
• Holidays: A 50% Deposit is required within 14 days of BOOKING the pet hotel if any part of the stay includes a holiday.  Full refund for cancellations within 7 days of arrival. Cancellations with less than 72 hours notice from the day of check in will incur a fee equal to one (1) night's stay and the remainder of the deposit will be refunded to the card used.  The Balance Due will be charged at check in.  
• No Show: If a client does not check in by closing time on the designated day and has not notified Barklandia in writing about any changes, the client will forfeit 100% of the deposit. 

All pets must pass a Meet and Greet in order to use our Pet Hotel services.

Pets must be in good health at Check in.  Symptoms of Bordetella (Canine Cough)or any other respiratory illness can not be present upon check.  If symptoms are present, Barklandia will refuse the boarding drop off.  This must be done for the health and safety of all our guests.  

Each dog should arrive with enough food for their stay. All food containers should be clearly labeled with your dogs first and last name. 

Current vaccinations must be on file. We cannot allows pets to stay with us for daycare or overnight without current proof of all required vaccinations.   

In order to help ensure a safe, healthy, and sanitized stay Barklandia is no longer able to allow clients to bring pet beds and blankets from home. We will provide everything your doggie will need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay! Please know that we use professional quality Kuranda Pet Beds that are made with strict material and safety standards and all of our blankets are regularly inspected to make sure they are in tip-top shape! 

What can I bring to make them feel at home? Chew toys and bones that are non-choking hazards are wonderful! A T-shirt is also a wonderful item to provide if you would like your pup to have something that has the scent of home!

All clients using our Pet Hotel services must have an Emergency Contact on file.  In the unlikely event that urgent medical care is needed:

• Barklandia will immediately attempt to reach the client or their designee. We will continue our efforts to reach the client until we are successful.
• If we are note able to immediately reach the client, Barklandia will attempt to contact the vet on file to determine if any actions are recommended.
• If the vet on file is not able to be contacted in a reasonable time frame, Barklandia will seek medical care at whichever Emergency Pet Hospital has the soonest opening.
• A travel charge of $25 will be imposed for each round trip to the vet or Emergency Pet Hospital.
• An hourly rate of $50 will be assessed for each hour a staff member is at the vet or Emergency Pet Hospital. The hourly rate will be billed in 15-minute increments.
• A vehicle cleaning fee of up to $250 will be assessed if any stains or odors from bodily fluids or functions result from transporting the pet. Pictures of any stains will be provided to the client. 

The listed Emergency Contact must be able to:

• Pick up your pet or meet a Barklandia staff member at a designated location within 2 - 3 hours of being contacted. 
• If your emergency contact or designee is NOT able to physically pick up your doggie as described above, the following Pet Hotel Addendum must be e-signed and returned to Barklandia at least 48 hours prior to check-in.  Pet Hotel Addendum
