Doggie Daycare rates and plans will change as of May 27, 2025

We offer several different Doggie Daycare play areas, but the two main rooms are The Pearl and The Hawthorne Room.  

We mix and match our play groups by age, temperament, size, and a variety of the other factors. This helps our doggies enjoy their day with dogs with similar temperaments, but also helps them learn to socialize with dogs that are different from them! 

Doggie daycare and dog boarding means your dog will play chase, run around, socialize with new friends, and get all the exercise they can handle!  Of course there's also plenty of time for lounging around and getting tummy rubs!  After spending time at Barklandia, your furry friend will come home happy and tired. We also offer professional dog grooming so your puppy can come home extra clean and fresh! And we all know the only thing better than a tired dog is a clean and tired dog! 

• In order to determine if a dog is good fit for doggie daycare, each dog must come in for a Meet and Greet. Meet and Greets  are supervised by Barklandia staff and are provided at NO COST. Each evaluation lasts approximately two hours and consists of structured and unstructured (but always supervised) playtime with both dogs and staff members. In order for us to truly get a sense your furry friend, we conduct these appointments without owners present.  
• Guests must be at least 16 weeks. 
• Dogs over 8 months old must  be spayed or neutered and be current on all required vaccinations.
• Pet's must also be on a vet approved Flea & Tick regimen.
• Proof of vaccinations must be provided:
  - Required  vaccinations: Rabies, DHP and Bordetella. (Some vets may wait till 6 months of age to provide the rabies vaccine and we will respect your vet's judgement).
• Vaccination records can be emailed to us by clients or veterinary clinics at info@barklandia-pdx.com
• An additional Meet and Greet may be required if your doggie hasn't attended daycare or boarding within the last 6 months. 

• The latest drop off time for Doggie Daycare is 1:00 PM on Monday - Friday. 
• The latest drop off time for Doggie Daycare is 11:00 AM on Saturdays.

Dogs are just like humans. They love having fun, but having fun can be exhausting! We do our best to meet all dogs’ needs by "reading" their body language. If a dog is showing signs of overstimulation or appears to be tired and / or getting a little “grumpy," we may have him or her take a nap. Just like humans, sometimes a little nap can make the day even more fun!
